Intellectual Yet Idiot

Thinking about starting a podcast. Had some friends over last night and had some good conversation. Talked about starting a podcast and I think it would be fun. Could tack it on to the rest of my idiotic brand. Kinda works. Also thinking about giving blog updates on my simple IRA account. I’ll dollar cost average my IRA at 70% bitcoin, 20% gold, and 10% silver every 30 days and see what the returns I get are. I could have an everyman’s opinion on the financial news while still knowing quite a bit. I could also go a little deeper on the individual stocks I own in my robinhood account and give periodic updates on that.

Looks like Joe Biden won the election. I’m sure he actually won but I’m also pretty sure there was a lot of voter fraud that went on. Just think about it rationally, do we really think that the vote counts could be accurate for 130 million votes? Seems ridiculous that there wouldn’t be mistakes/manipulation by either party. Decentralization is the answer here. I trust my local elections more than I trust presidential elections. Too much room for error.

Bitcoin and PM’s had a bad day today. There is preliminary news for a vaccine and the markets pumped. This might be giving people the impression that there won’t be a stimulus package. I still think there will be a stimulus package but we’ll see. Even if there isn’t another stimulus package the damage is already done. Once (If) the economy opens the velocity of the newly printed money will take its toll on inflation. I expect to see CPIs around 5-6% for the following years. Stan Druckenmiller also came out today and said he owns bitcoin. Bullish.

I also had a dream I was at a juice bar on Saturday night and Steve Nash was my juicetender. Figured I’d share.
